Virtual Meetings with Offices of North Carolina Legislators

On March 15, 2022, Divan Center members participated in Virtual Meetings with Offices of North Carolina Legislators Rep. Hudson,  Rep. Murphy, Rep. Butterfield, Rep. Adams, Rep. Budd, Sen. Tillis, Rep. Bishop, Rep. Ross and Rep. Price.

During these meetings, we shared how the Turkish American Hizmet supporters are contributing to the social harmony and integration of new community members to the local society. We also talked about the ongoing community service projects by Divan Center volunteers. Our members shared personal stories of their escape from the oppression of Erdogan Regime and how they rebuilt their lives here in North Carolina. We would like to express our deepest appreciation for the time, support and leadership of our legislators that they provide for our community.
