Divan is a 501 (c) (3) charitable, cultural non-profit non-governmental organization dedicated to addressing the social, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the people living in North Carolina. Through dialogue Divan enables peoples of diverse cultures to create a foundation of understanding which nurtures friendship, respect, and charity. Divan was founded in 2003 and supported by individuals who are affiliated with Hizmet social movement.
At Divan Center, our goal is to create a welcoming space where families, youth, and community members can come together to learn, connect, and grow. Each year, we aim to strengthen our community through meaningful programs, cultural events, and educational activities. As in past years, your generous contributions will help support the ongoing community activities, youth and family programs, and essential operating expenses of Divan Center in the 2025–2026 year. With your donation, we can continue to: Provide enriching programs for youth that inspire leadership, learning, and cultural awareness. Organize family-centered activities that nurture connection and unity. Cover essential expenses that allow Divan Center to remain a hub for our community. Every contribution—big or small—directly supports our shared goal of building a stronger, more connected community.
