Dr. Figen Es Meets with Divan Center Volunteers in North Carolina

On Friday, August 9th, Dr. Figen Es visited the Divan Center in North Carolina as a special guest, where she joined volunteers for an event focused on integration and socialization. The Divan Center, known for its efforts to support the integration process and encourage socialization for new community members in the Raleigh area, saw great interest in this special gathering.
In her speech, Dr. Figen Es emphasized that integration is not just a process but also a significant step toward strengthening community solidarity. During conversations with the volunteers, ideas were exchanged on how newcomers can adapt to the local community and develop a sense of active citizenship. This meeting proved to be a meaningful experience for both new participants and long-time volunteers at the Divan Center.
